Business Course Entries

Hmm, well this weekend was taken up mostly by my attempt at regaining some level of a social life; I had a date on Saturday! Yahoo. :o) Throughout all of this I still managed to get up a few more pages of content within the Management of Engineering Resources and Entrepreneurship, business course sections. Within the entrepreneurship undergraduate course I added another homework assignment in creating an Operations Plan. Also added were homework assignments in Financial Analysis, Project Management Activities, Company Research, and a general outline of Presentation Guidelines.

Entrepreneurship Course Exams

The Entrepreneurship, Business Entrepreneurship Course has been updated with two new exams and one of the homework assignments. The course looks at; identification and assessment of the critical factors that lead to a successful start-up. Focus on entrepreneurship, forms of ownership, researching a potential start-up business, profitability, financial needs, and competition. Completion of a business plan for a proposed enterprise. The pages I added this evening are:
Exam 1: Business Entrepreneurship
Exam 2: Entrepreneurship and Business
Assignment 6 - Full Business Plan

Cheers all.

JFET Characteristics and Biasing Labs Added

Experiment two, the JFET Biasing Lab has just been added to the laboratory course Analog Devices and Circuits. This lab covers biasing circuits, Q point, common source output drain characteristics and the transfer characteristic of a JFET. Pspice was also used to generate common source output and transfer curves.

JFET Optimizing and Characteristics Lab Added

An electrical engineering lab have been added to address Optimizing the 2N5458 JFET Lab. The lab course covers the characteristics of JFET biasing circuits, transconductance, and static and dynamic drain resistances of a junction field effect transistor. PSPICE simulations were also used to generate common source output and transfer curves. The main course topic and page link is found at Analog Devices and Circuits Lab Course.

Additional subset pages that have been added include:

JFET Small Signal Amplifier Lab Upload Complete

This weekend I finished coding and uploaded Lab Experiment 3 for the Analog and Semiconductor Devices Lab Course (EE 212). The JFET small signal amplifier lab is a sophomore level undergraduate course in electrical engineering which is geared towards becoming familiar with JFET characteristics and design principles for biasing these devices. In total, I uploaded eight new pages of content and updated a few other pages (i.e. found a few bad links, spelling errors, etc). Overall, I made some good progress and most importantly, I finalized the lab experiment coding template I will use on many of the upcoming labs I code and upload in the coming weeks.
